Crawl

Just monster bashin' and treasure grabbin'. Old school.

What Is It?

Crawl is the simple, bloody, smash n' grab, slimmed down,
kill 'em and eat 'em, dungeon-bashing, lair-looting,
creature-killin' bastard child of our world-leading
turn-based game DungeonWorld.

Except it isn't.

Although it has a similar system to DungeonWorld, it has
different classes, different items, different monsters
and an altogether simpler premise.

There's no Grand Plot or epic storyline here.
There's no GM-led intrigue.
It's just your adventurer, their weapon of choice
and hundred of miles of dark labyrinth
full of evil humanoids, insidious undead,
unnatural enemies and fire-breathing dragons.

And a whole lot of treasure to be found.

So here you have it, dungeon bashing fans.
A massive network of Dungeons to beat
the hell out of.

Forever, if you like.

Crawl is a commercial turn-based adventure game.
It normally runs three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

When the turn is run a PDF report is emailed to you details the results of your turn. You then need to send orders by filling in our online order form before the next turn is due.

Crawl can be highly-interactive. Cooperation with other players can greatly increase your chances of survival. But the game can also be played with almost no interaction at all if you prefer. Co-operative or solo, you choose how you want to play.

Crawl is open-ended. There is no definite 'conclusion' to the game. You set your own goals and try to survive is a tough and dangerous world. Death is a common occurence here. Don't get too downhearted... you can always sign up a new character if you are killed.
