What Does It Cost?

DungeonWorld is a character-based multiplayer
turn-based fantasy adventure game.

It is set in an epic world full of monsters,
mayhem, swords and sorcery.

There are two ways to play DungeonWorld; Freeplay, or Commercial Play.
Whichever way you choose you will still be playing in the same
consistent world as everybody else, using the same rules.

FreePlay

The only limitation with Freeplay is that you can only play
a single adventurer character and you cannot have any
chargeable sub-characters (things like Guard Dogs, or Men-At-Arms).
If you want to play multiple characters,
or if you wish to try a special position like an Estate Position,
or a Trader Position, you would need to move to commercial play.
You can be both a Freeplay and a Commercial Player.
Many people, after "going commercial", retain their
freeplay character forever.
Freeplay, as you would imagine by its name, costs absolutely nothing.

Commercial Play

Commercial turn-based Play-By-Email games (TBG PBEMs),
when compared to other similar hobbies, are inexpensive.
But we do need to eat!

The costs to play Commercial DungeonWorld are shown below.
All costs are in UK Pounds Stirling.
Madhouse UK handle players from everywhere
in the world (but in our own currency).
